The Sunnyside Theater is included in a 1925 newspaper ad promoting “Paramount Week.”
NOTE: The address of the theater (1045 ½ Belmont) was changed in Portland’s “Great Renumbering” of 1931-32. The current 1045 Belmont was NOT the location of the Sunnyside Theater. After the renumbering, the theater was renamed the Avalon, a name it retains to the present (2024).
