OCSlacker, you can only be one of two people, and I liked both immensely. This is Darin! AKA “Old School.” I was the main doorman, and usher extraordinaire. I remember working those Rocky Shows, and yes, shit was poppin' back then. I had so many good memories of that place — and to this day I tell my favorite ghost experiences that happened there: once in 1996 when I worked there the first time, and again in 1998. Goddamn, I’m all nostalgic now. I signed up to this site just on the whim that you’ll read this someday. If you do, look up Jocko Snarbuckle on FaceBook. Fuck!I loved this theater. I still have a good amount of original movie posters, and a t-shirt of the Crow: City of Angels. Ha! And it took about 10 years to be able to eat popcorn again.

Loved working here. Great people , great memories. It was really a tough break when it closed, business was booming before the Century 25 opened. Some of my fondest memories come from running this theatre. Right before it closed it was #1 in the country for Rocky Horror Picture Show . We saw over a 1000 patrons come through that door every Saturday at midnight and at least 600 on average for our revival movie night on Fridays . It was an incredible success for the company and actually helped keep the theatre open for several months after the Century opened it’s doors. Really miss those days sometimes.

Update: Demolishion has started on this theater. I drove by it today and half the building was already torn down.
