Sheridan Drive-In

The Sheridan Drive-In was built by the Cohen family, who still operate the Transit Drive-in. The Sheridan Drive-In opened on July 7, 1951 with Joel McCrea in “South of St. Louis”. In 1957 it was moved 1,000ft to Ensminger Drive, due to repositioning of Interstate 190. A second screen opened on May 21, 1970. It was closed in 1981.

Opened on 7/7/1950 with “South of St Louis”. Moved more 1000 feet to a new location in Ensminger Drive in 1957, because of the new interchange for I-190/I-290. Closed in 1981. Demolished(date unknown?). The site is now Interstate Commerce Centre.

Opened on July 7th, 1970, and the 2nd screen opened on May 21st, 1970. Grand opening ad posted.
