The Plaza Twin was opened June 1, 1967. This old theater was located at Wesleyan Park Plaza in Owensboro. Now a church occupies the space. They use the cinema rooms as their sancturary and their lobby as the front of the church. A rival was the mall twin cinema in Lincoln Mall but, it has now closed too.

This opened on June 1st, 1967 as the Rocking Chair Theatre of Tomorrow with one screen. Grand opening ad in the photo section and below

This was bought out by Malco theatres on December 22nd, 1971 per this article below.
