The Totem opened on November 13, 1976 as a triplex which was originally part of the Wometco chain. It was later taken over by Act III Theatres. On July 6, 1986, the theatre was increased to eight screens and in 2000 it became part of the Regal Cinemas chain.
The theatre showed a mix of first-run, art, and foreign features. Today it operates as a second run bargain movie theatre.

I had forgotten all about “SPECIAL DELIVERY” with BO Svenson and i think Cybil Sheppard.I remember us playing that film,first run.Think I might even have the one sheet.
I have got an Anchorage newspaper some where in my stack of theatre stuff from a 80’s,if i can ever find it i will get it in CT.
