An ad from the May 29, 1949, edition of the Jefferson City News and Tribune, as reprinted in the Aug. 31, 2019 issue of the News Tribune.

Although it’s not the grand opening ad, it’s from the first month of the 50 Hiwa (did they pay the sign guy by the letter?). I so love the twilight silhouette with the playground, the ramps, the concession stand projecting a triangle of scattered light, and uh maybe some people standing around behind the concession stand.

Almost certainly in the public domain, but in a word, yaneverknow.
