Airport Drive-In

The Airport Drive-In opened on August 5, 1947 with Gary Cooper in “The Plainsman”. It was locared adjacent to the Salt Lake City Airport. The ozoner had a 300 car capacity. It operated until 1975 when it was annexed by the airport for expansion.

Grand opening date of the Airport was August 5, 1947 with “The Plainsman” starring Gary Cooper and Jean Arthur. The ad from the Salt Lake Tribune is now in the Photos section.
