The Argonne Theatre opened in the early-1920’s seating almost 1,000. The building was originally Colonial in style with red brick and white granite trim. It had a large V shaped marquee when it was remodeled and renamed the Belair Theatre. The name Belair stretched across the front of the marquee. During another remodel the upper portion of the front facade was plastered over in stucco to give it a more Art Deco modern look.

The Belair Theatre closed in the 1970’s. The exterior of the building has been restored to its original Colonial style and the red brick and granite trim is now back in place. It has now become office space.

Addressed should be changed to 5 North Main Street, as there is also a 5 South. Below rental listing claims it was built in 1930, and renovated into office space in 1992.
