My heart twinged and skipped several beats while watching these grand ‘old ladies’ of the past. Just think of the lost grandeur our children will never be able to savor. Nice music, too… and THANKS A MILLION!
i too am honoured to have savored the last days, of the grand thereres, in the sixties .
I thought for sure they would show the old Valencia Theater on Jamaica Ave, Jamaica, Queens, NY. It was a fabulous old movie theater. A sister theater is the State in Kalamazoo, Michigan. When I went there for a concert I was so surprised to see that it had the beautiful night sky above and grandeur of the Valencia designed by the same architect.
