Tudor Revival Movie Theaters

The Tudor Revival style became very popular in the United States during the 20s and 30s, especially in suburban areas. It refers to the half-timbered style of architecture of the early English Renaissance period (16th and early 17th centuries) under Elizabeth I (1558-1603) “Elizabethan” and James I (1603-25) “Jacobean”. Other details of the Tudor Revival style include overlapping gables, parapets and intricately patterned brickwork.
