Located in the east Berlin district of Kreuzberg. The Stella Palast was built in 1929, opening in 1930. Designed by architects Gustav Neustein & Walter Hamer, the exterior was a square box 3-storeys tall. Inside the auditorium, seating was provided for 1,428-seats in the orchestra and 352-seats in the balcony. The shape of the auditorium was almost circular and there was a huge circular plaster feature on the ceiling. In the early years it presented a mix of films and variety acts. In 1937 the front of the building was rebuilt to the designs of architect Bruno Meltendorf. The Stella Palast was closed during World War II when the auditorium was demolished by Allied bombs.

In 1946 it reopened as a 400-seat cinema located in the still surviving foyer. This has since closed and the entire site is a vacant lot, used as a car park.
