Old 35mm carbon arc movie projectors wanted

posted by cameragraph on December 1, 2006 at 4:35 am

My name is Tom Wilson and I am an avid collector of vintage 35mm carbon arc movie projectors and old theater equipment. If you have any old projectors or equipment available for sale or for trade please give me a call at 937-477-9855. I will travel anywhere in the continental USA to pick up equipment that I purchase. Also looking for a free standing ticket booth, marquee signs, light fixtures and decorative poster cabinets etc. Don’t hesitate to give me a call if you have something.

Hi Tom, sorry but I cannot ring you direct so will give you my email if interested. Problem is I’m in Australia. Maybe you know someone over here who may be interested The goodies I have are. A Pope skeletal projector stand with lamp house intact and attached, I have moved it about quite a few times over the years and fingers crossed, the mirrors have survived. When I acquired it from the cinema it was used as a glass slide projector for advertising prior to the movie. Many sq. glass slides approx 3" square. When removed it was fully functional and just the asbestos covered power cables were cut in the removal process. Feel free to contact. My interests and circumstance have changed, so I have a view to sell pending an appropriate offer. Regards Peter.

I recently bought a storage unit, it is full of stuff from a movie theather, from old to new projectors, some say marconi < I may have spelled that wrong, it has the speaker boxs to the the big horns, to the red curtains that used to be in front of the screen, looking to sell everything, it is is wisconsin, there are about 12 projectors that are portable, to 2 that are 7 foot high by 4 foot wide aproximently. there is thousands of glass radio tubes, the unit is 10 by 20 and completly full, i have to emptie it soon. you can email me at thanks…..

Hi Tom.My name is Gary and my wife Sue own an antique shop in Illinois and conduct Estate Sales as part of our business. We recently became involved in assisting a friend clearing out his uncle’s house. In the Theatre Room he built above the garage there are 2 Peerless Simplex Movie Projectors he would like to sell. They are wired to two power boxes that have the words “Boardwalk Films,Atlantic City, N.J. stenciled on them. He also has a complete Power’s Camera Graph 6B Projector from 1904. There is also a Pathex 19.536 Type G Movie Projector. In the garage there are 6 high intensity lamps for the Peerless Projectors, a Motiograph Mirrorphonic, and a Bardwell & McAllister stage light on a wheeled stand. If you have any interest in any of these items please contact me at . Would be able to supply pics of any or all items. Thank you.

Hello, greetings from Mexico. I am an antiques restorer. I’ve restored old projectors, and I’ve arranged each piece of a projector Simplex XL and E-7 working as a completely new projector. It is a very though job. I wonder if you are interested in purchasing this beautiful museum piece. Up next, I attach a couple of pictures of the projectors.

I send you my best regards and I expect your response.

If you are still interested in Arc Lamp Projectors and parts, I may have a Gold Mine for you. One Projector housing w/stand and approximately a pickup load full of parts and pieces. in Frankfort, KY

Emptying a basement at an Estate/Moving Sale of a Son of an Operator’s Union Business Agent and Projectionist who actually made some of the parts. He died in 1975 at the age of 83 and left these things with my wife’s father. I heard stories that there were enough parts and pieces to build 3 projectors…
