SAVE THE FOX INGLEWOOD —– learn how you can become involved in preventing its demolition and restoring this incredible resource as a multi-purpose entertainment and special events center.

The future of the Fox Inglewood is very much in question. The LAHTF is working with Inglewood ’s Historic Sites Preservation Committee to raise awareness and organize community support for its preservation and re-use. Vacant for over 20 years, the Fox is in an amazing state of preservation. It has great potential to help revitalize downtown and re-establish Market Street as an entertainment destination. A brief video tour of the Fox is available here – http://www.youtube.com/lahtf#p/u/0/gHRDIpEzGrk

Thanks to all that attended and our thanks to the wonderful hosts of the Academy. The Church has kept the building in wonderful condition, including the amazing class etching of a naked woman holding an Oscar which is still there (complete with neon lighting) that they tastefully kept hidden with a curtain.
