“Gravity” reaches for new heights at the movies

Forbes had an interesting post about how the “Gravity” can help the exhibition industry by providing an experience best suited for the big screen. But if this is really what people are looking for, where does that leave less grandiose genres?

It doesn’t matter what the genre. Everything looks better on a bigger screen. Scale impresses. That’s why we love Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Grand Canyon, the Pyramid of Giza, etc..

imax makes it happen…that' my favorite part about amc in rockaway…the imax is great for both scope and widescreen movies…

Um…“scope” and “widescreen” are the same thing. :)
