Forest Hills' Michael Perlman Wins 2014 Preservation Award by the Historic Districts Council

FOREST HILLS, NY — Instrumental in saving the Ridgewood Theatre, Michael Perlman will receive the 2014 Grassroots Preservation Award from the Historic Districts Council this Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at 6:30 PM at Grace Church, 254 Hicks Street, Brooklyn Heights. Besides theatres, he’s saved various structures in the area. He led the charge to reopen the Forest Hills Stadium four years ago and it’s now booking concerts again for the first time in years.
