Opened on 11th of August 1949 with “Dalton’s Ride Again” and shorts “Jolly Jingles” and “Gullible Canary”. The Grand Opening was on the 14th with “Rolling Home” and “Screwdriver” which I think was a Woody Woodpecker cartoon.

That sucks but at least they plan to rebuild and renovate instead of just closing.
