Ok Guys..If you want to see real Ghost In a real old Theatre(Pics taken by me)I have a boat load. So many in this Theatre that I am sending a team of Ghost Hunters to check it out. They have the equipment and cant wait to see what they come up with. Oh and yes I am looking to buy that Theatre. Ghost and all.
Joe Hermes is the Mayor of this town of Edna. The original theatre seated appx. 1000. In the early 70’s part of the stage
was extended out and approximately 10 rows in the front were removed. The seats are all still in the theatre, some need upholstry work. The seats in the balcony are the original seats. Over 1 mile of Neon alone on this Theatre.
My Father worked as an user in this theatre. He said up in the top of the theatre were Vaudeville style dressing rooms with some old props inside still. He had to wear a Tux and he escorted people to their seats.This Theatre was huge and it seem to take forever to walk someone down the Isle to the front(near the screen). They made popcorn upstairs and brought it down in huge plastic bags. It was then put in a bend so they could sell it in small boxes as people bought it. The reason is cause they didnt have the popper at the stands. He was young and did not question why but he feels it was to give a more classy appearance without a popper present. It also had a few box seating toward the front.Parked out front on the street, would have been his old 1950 chevy with grey primer(It was cheap) and Red Wheels. The Dash was painted red with strips made of black electric tape. Too Bad we dont have this place anymore.
Buy that theatre as we speak. Ghost and all.

I drove by this loaction yesterday. It is barly visible as a former Theatre. What a shame! Bricks even filled up areas where windows were.

This is now a book store. Stop by sometime and you will still see the screen and restored inside. Still a beautiful place.
