In 1942, gas rationing was on and the Interstate’s Palace Theatre fought back with a “Don’t Be a Gas Rationing Shut-In” campaign with bus ads for films, maps with all of the Interstate Theatres including the Palace listed, and an “Ease the Squeeze” dinner and movie campaign. Cool stuff!
