  • <p>Photo from AUSTRALIAN HISTORY -THE WAY IT WAS - A NOSTALGIC LOOK AT OUR PAST - Reference Bill Freeman</p> <h1>Enmore theatre, decorative lighting & main auditorium</h1> <p>Courtesy; The Guardian</p> <p>The Enmore theatre has a remaining architectural fabric that includes elements of art nouveau, Edwardian, art moderne and various art deco styles. This mix of styles can be seen in the decorative elements associated with the lighting.</p> <p>Built by the Szarka brothers and opened to the public as a photoplay theatre in 1912. It is the longest-running live music venue still operational in New South Wales.
