Looked through some Facebook searches, it looks like it did open irregularly/for special events in 2022, although the previous owner Platinum Cinemas has folded and permanently closed their other location in Chanhassen earlier this year (redevelopment plans are underway). I may try to swing by and check it out this week when I’m in the area for Christmas.

Excelsior Dock Cinema seems to have been a COVID casualty sadly. This local news report (https://tinyurl.com/ydvnu5x3) referenced the Dock Cinema as being “closed due to lack of staff”, and then this 2021 article (https://tinyurl.com/urcxcxxm) references “the former Excelsior Dock Theater”. All traces of the former operator, Platinum Cinemas, have disappeared online.
Seems that Icon Cinema Edmond has finally reopened, and had its grand opening Saturday May 6, 2023 according to local news.

I frequent this location and it is a 10 screen theater, not 14. Not exactly sure when but sometime early in the construction phase the plans were changed to a 10 screen theater.
This location should be listed as “Renovating”, while there are no showtimes posted on Regal’s website the location is still actively listed. Additionally, I live nearby and the location has been visibly under renovation since early-mid 2022, although the renovation stalled once Regal went into bankruptcy in late 2022. Unknown on what the current timeline is but there have been no indications that Regal doesn’t plan on finishing the renovation once they emerge from bankruptcy.
Regal Spotlight 14 reopened on 1/12/24. Fully renovated with recliners in all auditoriums, a ScreenX auditorium, and new concessions and games areas.
