Photograph showing the circle foyer area, with fitted Gaumont Insignature carpet with GB monogramme, this carpet was manufactured by Templeton of Glasgow and fitted in most Gaumont cinemas until 1939. Furniture by Lusty & Son London. It was most unusual for this large area not being used for a restaurant as all large Gaumont’s normally provided this facility.
