Originally opened in 1912 as the Isis Theatre, serving primarily as a live theatre venue and opera house. The 500-seat Isis Theatre was located on Main Street at State Avenue, and was showing movies within a couple of years. Later renamed the Grove Theatre and was closed in the 1960’s. In 1971 it was remodeled to the plans of architect Mel C. Glatz and reopened with a reduced seating capacity of 300. This theatre is now closed.
