The pandemic has led Ripon resident Mark Stotzer to reopen the Ceres. It’s down to one screen, and it may be just a temporary thing, but it was reported by the Turlock Journal and the Modesto Bee.

There was a fire in the bio box and snack bar on 21/6/2010. There is footage of the fire on youtube. The fire may have been arson by vandals.

The Ceres reopened as a Flea Market only in 2012. But there has been some talk about showing movies again in the near future. Screen 2 is still standing, and they would have to rebuild the booth and put up a new screen in field 1 for it to happen.
