Found the ad for the New Sharon from June 14th, 1981. Ad posted in photo section.
Reopened as New Sharon on June 14th, 1981. No ad found.
This was the last movie theater in Fort Lee until the iPic opened last year.

The Grant-Lee was a long time adult theatre which later turned to commercial fare as the Sharon Cinema (before closing in the late 1980s). It was located at 815 Abbott Blvd. in the Palisade section of Fort Lee. The theatre building still exists as the home to several local retailers and service providers.

I just discovered that the Sharon Cinema had another name. The former name was the Grant-Lee Theatre. Hope this helps.
