In spite of being a “church temple”, Império is currtenly safe from demolition, till the day that church leaves its premisses. The interior is well preserved, although some details are somehow changed, but of less importance … and the big exterior spheres, made of iron, on the top of the building, were redraw, probably sold out.

The small movie room, called “Estúdio”, is now used as his honor, the “bishop” office. Nevertheless, the greatness of Império is its main auditorium, with 2 balconies and large, large screen.

Império has a small delicious detail, almost nobody knows: its geometry is not regular, one side is smaller than the rest, due to land dimensions, and the urgent need building streets and square around the place.
