Rowley United closed the Rosewin in 1963 but was reopened as an arthouse in March of 1964. Two years later, the cinema played some porno chic X-rated films and the crowds came. So the theater became an adult theater for its final ten years, closing in December of 1976 with the triple feature seen at bottom. The theater was ostensibly zoned out of existence as Dallas cracked down on adult theaters within 1,000 feet of parks, schools, et al.
