Chuck1231 The Texas in Cisco only had 200 seats I worked there in 1952,it closed after that.

Looking at the old Pacace, I couldn’t stop thinking about the theater in “The Last Picture Show”!

Nothing remains of the Place except memories and a dusty vacant lot.
It has been demolished along with thousands of dollars worth of theater and movie equipment including a $6000.00 antique popcorn machine and equipment that had been stored there from the Joy Drive In.

Still shows up in Street View, but in the 500 block of W 8th St. Looks like 2 story building next door was torn down first, it does not show up in the view.

Just drove by there today…nothing has changed. The building is CONDEMNED!
My (sad) photograph of the PALACE. Possibly the saddest old theater I have ever photographed. Surely it has a resident ghost.
