The Kino Tesla opened in 1935. Located along the River Miljacka in the city center, the Kino Tesla played host to both the Sarajevo Film Festival as well as the Bosnia Herzegovina National Festival. It was demolished around 2006, and the Art Cinema Kriterion was built in its place.
