Apparently 1907 was the period when magic lantern shows became more profitable than the liquor business, because it was around that time when saloons all across Oklahoma converted over to the exhibition of moving pictures. The Zenith Saloon in Warner, OK, was amongst them.

A decorative wall was constructed across the center section of the former dance hall to create a penny arcade inside the new front lobby. Inside the back movie room tavern chairs were lined up in rows in front of a silver screen that had been hung over the already existing draped stage, and “voila”, the Zenith Nickelodeon was born.

In 1915 the Warner burned to the ground when a reel of celluloid film ignited while running through the projector.
