Operating as the New Ridge Theater in 1941, it had become the Ridge Theater by 1943, and continued until at least 1957 when it was operated by Drive-In Theatres Inc.

It now operates as Legend’s nightclub.

Eight blocks through the grain bins to what Google calls 553 Minnesota Ave to Legends. A nice looking theater facade and marquee.

Here’s a photo from August 2011.

The same building design (operated by Baehr Theatres) as the Park Theatre in Park Rapids, MN — so probably built the same year or thereabouts (1939).

The Border Theatre at International Falls (1939) also shared the design of the Ridge Theatre and the Park Theatre.
