The Joyland Theatre Airdome, built in 1924, was located on the southwest corner of Broadway and Main Street. The theater was on a lot that was left vacant when construction on a building was halted. A local minister filled in the basement hole, sloped the sides for seating and installed a screen. The theater offered both films and preaching.

It was billed as “roomy, cool, comfortable and the highest class of good moral pictures - a good place to meet your friends”.

The Joyland Theatre Airdome was closed by 1929. The Broncho Theatre was later built on the location.
