Starry Night Drive-In is the newest of Georgia’s seven drive in movie theaters and was opened in June of 2008 by Katrina and Zac Gowen. There is room for one hundred and fifty cars; and the same amount of room for lawn chairs and blankets, which makes for a nice atmosphere. Movies are shown every second and fourth weekend of each month; on Fridays they always have a double feature. Their gates open at eight thirty at night, restrooms and concessions are provided.
It appears to have closed by January 2011.

The official website link does not work. I don’t think this “drive-in” is operating any longer, if that is what you choose to call it. I question if this qualifies as a drive-in, since there were no permanent structures involved. The screen was a bed sheet stretched out between two poles. At best it was a temporary outdoor lawn movie. Calling this a drive-in theatre is an insult to real drive-ins.
