1982 Grand opening ad found and posted.
Renamed Silver Screen Café on December 6th, 1991. It opened as Cinema ‘n’ Drafthouse on April 2nd, 1982. No 1982 grand opening ad found.
I am working on a project on “Lost” Charlotte Movie Theaters for UNC-Charlotte where i am a faculty member. By the 90’s this place was twinned and renamed the Silver Screen Cafe.
