April 26, 1942 has Dorothy “Dottie” Lamour in Wichita as part of the Victory Pledge tour… and “The Fleet’s In” is playing at the local theater, as well. But all of the local Wichita theaters celebrated her arrival including the Dunbar (ad at left)
