Lillian Walker opened the all new Savage Theater March 22, 1939 with Buck Jones in “Hollywood Round-Up”. Its next door neighbor, the Metro Theater had reopened a week earlier. Employees at the opening date were Bill Farley and Thelma Haley.

Both theaters enjoyed long successful runs and closed, with the Savage Theater closing on March 31, 1957 with Dane Clark in “Massacre”.

Opening film for the new Savage Theatre on March 24, 1939 was “Hollywood Roundup.” The Savage was ultimately tamed on March 31, 1957 closing with Dane Clark in “Massacre.”
