This opened on December 26th, 1970. Grand opening ad in the photo section. It had an Ultra-Vision screen.

Wow,I am pretty close to Columbia and often would look at the STATE newspaper, never noticed Carolina Cinemas.

An Irwin-Fuller Theatre?
