A closer address is 2876 Fort Worth Drive, Denton, TX.

As mentioned by driveinfan, the drive in was just south of the mobile home park. The entrance road is gone, but a Google Street View from February 2021 shows an entrance in place, even if no road extends into the property.

Boxoffice ran a lengthy article about the “Coed,” with a couple of wide photos, in its Sept. 5, 1953 issue. Owners Jerry and Bonnie Stout had parked a full carnival in front of the place during the showing of the movie “The Greatest Show on Earth”.

I believe the drive in was next to the now present mobile home park according to Google Earth. The property is now part of the Jagoe-Public Co. Please see photo section.

Now Country View Mobile Homes south of the city. Approx. address for this drive-in was 2800 Fort Worth Drive.
