Quellin Cinema 1-2-3

The Eden Cinema opened in 1916 with 900 seats. It was located in the centre of Antwerp, across the street from the Calypso Cinema.

In later years it was re-named Quellin Cinema and was operated by George Heylen. In 1982 it was tripled, with seating capacities in the screens given as 640, 111 and 79. The Quellin Cinema was closed on 3rd September 1993. In around 2006, the auditorium was demolished and a new building erected, retaining only the original facade. In June 2009, the building is for sale as future retail space.
