The NuVu Theater was built in 1952 by Henry Hagman who also constructed the Ione Theater in Ione Washington and the Bridge Theatre in Metaline Falls.

NuVu Show house is currently open and showing movies.

This theater is now called the NuVu, and according to their Facebook page (NuVu-Theater)they are still showing movies each Friday-Sunday, with the most recent listing being “The Secret Life of Pets” on August 5, 6, and 7. Their contact number is 509-446-5000.
