In the upper left, it’s the Oct. 1, 1938 Grand Opening Ad for the Texas Theatre with “Guns at Dark.” In the upper right, it’s the soft launch opening of the Texas on Sept. 29-30, 1938 with “Wake Up and Live along with the eve of soft launch on bottom center. Just prior to its tenth anniversary, the Texas gets a remodeling and has a grand re-opening (upper center). It gets widescreen in 1954 (bottom left) and finally closes in 1960 (bottom right).
