Located in the east London district of Walthamstow. The People’s Picture Palace was a shop conversion. It operated as a cinema in 1909, and was closed when the Cinematograph Licencing Act was introduced in 1910.
Since demolished (possibly in the 1970’s), a small parade of shops with flats above has been built on the site. In 2010, Bargain Books occupies the unit at this address.
