St. Mary's Hall

Located in the small village of Kelvedon, west of Colchester, on the High Street at the corner of St. Mary’s Road. The St. Mary’s Hall was originally built as a public hall. It was converted into a cinema in 1946, and was independently operated.

St. Mary’s Hall was closed as a cinema in April 1960, and the building was later taken over by a church. By the early-1990’s, the building had become derelict. It was renovated in 1992, and converted into housing.
