On Sept. 5, 2019, the Beaver County Times wrote “Starting their local empire in 1949 with the Rose Drive-In in Harrison City, the Warrens eventually came to own the Blue Dell and Bel-Aire drive-ins in North Huntingdon and the Super 30 Drive-In in Irwin.”

On the other hand, I can’t find any listing for the Rose before the 1952 Theatre Catalog.

The Rose Drive-In site now consists of housing on two streets, Pamela Drive and Rose Avenue. From PA 130 East, 8/10 of a mile past the PA Turnpike overpass, the right turn onto Pamela was originally the turnoff road to the drive-in.

Sure could use an address or crossroads. I’ve also seen this Drive-In listed as being in Jeannette?

More info and photos are always welcome.

Who ever owned the land it was on maybe knew that it was to be redeveloped and ran a drive-in till they got a good offer for the land and said I,ll take it.The cities love homes to collect much more taxes than a drive-in could bring in.

It must have closed a few years later cause it is not in the 1956 Motion Picture Almamac listing Drive-ins.
