The Army built this nice brick theatre in 1929 and a cheaper strip mall theatre in the 1980’s. Both served to provide cheap entertainment for soldiers and their families. As a child, I saw the Longest Day, the Bedford Incident, and other stories of geo-political conflict. I don’t think they ever offered Bambi or Lady and the Tramp.
