Opened as the Biloxi Pictorium prior to March 1908, it was operated by Schwenk & Bernius and had 15-shows a day in its 125-seat auditorium which was 124ft long and 20ft wide.

It was renamed New Bijou Theatre from November 5, 1910 when it’s opening picture was “The Deciding Vote”. On January 14, 1914 it was renamed the Crown Theatre. It was demolished in the 1940’s and the Avenue Theatre was built on the site.

This may have been opened as Biloxi Pictorium and renamed New Bijou on November 5th, 1910. Grand opening ads posted.
