My mother grew up in Healdton in the 1940’s and 1950’s. She remembers a second theater that was built in the 1940’s, located on the same side of Main Street, but four or five blocks down from the Thompson Theatre. That theater’s name was Texan Theatre and that it showed mostly westerns and ‘B’ movies.
