A Randy Marion car dealership now occupies the property.

This property, which has continued to look like a drive-in property with the ramps in tact off I-77 since closure, is currently being developed into a car dealership for Randy Marion.

Grand opening was June 22, 1972 with “Diamonds Are Forever”, starring Sean Connery…followed by “Support Your Local Sheriff”, starring James Garner

Does anyone know about a Statesville Drive-In, probably open in the late 1940s or early 1950s?

I walked the lot once it was closed I guess back in the ninties, never found a thing….took pictures….
