Photograph taken in 1959 of the County cinema. At the bottom of the entrance steps there appears to be a pair of sentry boxes, these in fact enclosed the still display boards against the elements and prevented the public having to climb a mountain of steps to see details of the film showing, although in this picture there do not seem to be many takers unless the driver of the car opposite is going to take the climb. No problem in parking in those days.
