The Opera House was open in 1925, by 1933 it was known as the Strasburg Theatre. It went through a name change again in 1938 to the Mattray Theatre and by 1949 it was back to the Strasburg Theatre. The theatre seated 200 and lasted at least into the late-1950’s.
