I don’t understand how Cinemark opening new locations in Roseville and Merced have anything to do with the Tanforan closing.

Sorry Scott. Per San Francisco Examiner, KPIX, KGO and Oakland Tribune, THIS THEATRE ALONG WITH THE MALL WILL BE CLOSED FOR GOOD! There’s a reason Cinemark opened new locations in Roseville (Galleria Mall 14) and Merced (Mall of Merced 14)! Cut your losses and move on! That’s what happened with the Empire also.

It wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibilities of to keep this theater open and construct some sort of new entrance specifically for the theater. I haven’t heard anything that confirms the theater is closing.

Unfortunaly this magnificent multiplex is closing FOR GOOD! 🥺🥺

I just several news report that The Shops At Tanforan were closing permanantly to make way for a biotech campus (WINCHESTER DRICE IN I CAMPBELL I’M LOOKING AT YOU!). Most all of the property except the covered BART station will be demolished! AGAIN! Too bad. 😔
